The way of things to come...

I chanced upon this
quite a while ago but still think it's pretty fascinating stuff. I bet you when you watch it, you wouldn't believe your socks what just happened. Here's a quote from the website - "Earlier this year some very interesting tapes were handed to me from a long standing acquaintance of mine. The tapes originated at a Lenovo (the Chinese company that recently took over IBM Thinkpad) research facility and appear to feature test footage. When my acquaintance watched the tapes back, he found some footage that he just had to get it out into the public domain. I’ve watched the material myself and I’ve got to agree with him – it’s pretty amazing stuff."

A peek into the future or just an elaborate hoax - that's for you to decide. Whichever way, that was some impressive stuff! Enjoy!

Photo-editing Experiment

I was trying out a new photo-editing process and thought I would put up a few photos for comments. I was trying to freeze the subjects even more by giving the photos an icy, smooth, a little dreamy perhaps kind of look. I think I achieved that better in some photos than others. Also realised that the effect is better achieved when you actually have direct eye contact with the subject. The discoloured look was intentional to bring out a sort of ephemeral quality. Tell me what you think. :)

By the way, the photos are courtesy of Jeffrey. I didn't take these myself.

Climb Every Mountain

I noticed that over the past weeks, the hit rate on my blog has taken a dip. Ha ha ha. Shows how often I have been updating. Well, here's why - I've been busy with my exhibition - TAP! and also just came back from climbing Mt Kinabalu last week. More impotantly, I've been working hard at improving my spiritual family's blog. You can check it out here.

We learnt much from the Mt. K climb. I myself had the wonderful opportunity to personally assist my pastor all the way up to the submit. The time that we spent together was precious and deeply wonderfuly for me. Here's some pictures of the climb and the wonderful people that I went up with. Enjoy. :)

This is a work of ART!

Every once in a while, you come across something on the net that is just simply beautiful, breathtaking and leaves you wondering "how on earth did they do that??!" It's been a long time since I saw something like that, but I must say, this just absorbs you into it, setting you off on an endless, timeless clicking and staring into screen. I was totally mesmerised. Trust me, click HERE now. But be warned, you might not be able to stop...

Good Enough to Eat

Well, some of you might have heard that I've been going for cooking lessons. I'm supposed to be learning how to cook french food, but it seems to me that anything cooked with red wine or brandy is considered french cuisine. Anyway, here's something that one of friends drew for me. I thought it was really cute. Ha ha. Liked it a lot so I added some colour to it and voila! I really like to cook. Real good food to me is a subtle mix of different flavours and tastes. If anyone of you knows a really good recipe, leave it in the comments!
